Basics shows you a value, never a calculation. Turn it on and the Arena
deals written-out values only — 42, "True",
[1, 2, 3] — and holds back anything you would have to work
out first, like 45 % 4 or len("apple"). Turn it off
when naming the type is the easy part.
On a computer you share, this browser forgets you. Copy your code before you leave and email it to yourself, or paste it into a doc. Next time, paste it back and carry on from the belt you reached.
The same run for everybody, all day, seeded from the date. No server needed for two students to compare scores.
One ladder for all three machines. Clearing a belt anywhere opens the next one everywhere. Belts 9 to 18 are the Arena's own: they open once belts 1 to 8 are cleared there. Every rule, on one page →

Told apart by their names, in the order the belts introduce them. Colour is kept for one job only, which is saying whether an answer was right.
Everything you have done is kept in this browser and nowhere else. Clearing it puts you back at belt 1 with an empty review pile.
