About the N-Back Task
The N-Back Task measures working memory - your ability to hold and update information in mind.
- Press SPACE when the current letter matches the one from N positions ago
- 1-Back: Does it match the previous letter?
- 2-Back: Does it match 2 letters ago?
- 3-Back: Does it match 3 letters ago?
- Hit: Correctly pressing for a match
- Miss: Not pressing when there was a match
- False Alarm: Pressing when there was no match
